Quality Engineer – Progression to Manager

About the role
We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join a leading manufacturing business in Rochdale. The role offers the chance to influence the quality strategy across multiple sites and progress to a Quality Manager position.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
- Assist in day‑to‑day management of the quality team.
- Conduct internal audits and support external customer audits.
- Analyse and resolve product and process quality issues.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to drive continuous improvement.
Required profile
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong background in quality assurance and auditing.
- Desire to develop into a managerial role.
- Full UK driving licence.
Required skills
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 standards.

- Salary £40,000‑£45,000 per annum.
