Quality Engineer – Regulated Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to lead quality initiatives across a busy production site that supplies high‑performance non‑woven and engineered textile materials to multiple high‑growth sectors. You will act as the senior quality interface for complex customer, supplier and internal matters, ensuring robust investigations and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead structured investigations into complaints, deviations and non‑conformances, delivering timely corrective and preventive actions.
• Support customer escalations, audits and performance discussions with professionalism.
• Coach and mentor junior Quality Engineers to enhance investigation quality and issue resolution.
• Own and improve core quality processes such as CAPA, control plans, PFMEA and risk management.
• Analyse quality data, trends and KPIs to identify systemic issues and prioritise improvement activities.

Required profile

• Proven senior experience in Quality Engineering within a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems and standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100).
• Demonstrated ability to conduct root‑cause analysis and drive continuous improvement.
