Quality Engineer – Technical Progression & Leadership

About the role

This permanent position offers a quality engineer the chance to own and evolve the site’s quality systems while receiving dedicated technical training and a clear path to senior engineering responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and drive quality systems and processes across the site.
• Implement and improve ISO 9001‑based Quality Management System.
• Lead internal audits, non‑conformance handling and CAPA activities.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis, FMEA and first‑article inspections.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma and Lean tools.
• Maintain documentation, SPC charts and GD&T standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality engineering, inspection or related roles.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing quality standards and ISO 9001.
• Ability to work autonomously and champion quality on the shop floor.
• Willingness to undertake further technical training.

What we offer

• Salary £40,000‑£55,000 per year.
• 29 days holiday rising to 36 days.
