Quality Improver – Packaging & Distribution

About the role

CooperVision, a global leader in soft contact lenses, is looking for a Quality Improver to lead investigations and drive continuous improvement across its Packaging and Distribution Group. The role is full‑time, onsite in Mountpark, Eastleigh, and supports compliance with regulatory and quality system requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead NCR, Quality Feedback, Customer Complaint and SNC investigations, performing root‑cause analysis and training others.
• Monitor investigation timelines to minimise customer impact and produce detailed reports.
• Lead and participate in continuous‑improvement projects, develop documentation and training material.
• Act as Risk Assessment Lead and ECO Change Analyst, supporting engineering changes.
• Drive CAPA activities, ensuring timely corrective and preventive actions.
• Review quality metrics (NCR, complaints, QFBs, SNCs) and provide GMP training.

Required profile

• Highly motivated with strong written and verbal communication.
• Good organisational skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Full, current driving licence and flexibility to work across UK sites.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a regulated industry, preferably medical devices.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 14971 and ISO 13485 risk‑management standards.
• Experience with GMP, CAPA, ECO and risk‑assessment processes.
• Familiarity with quality improvement tools and processes.
• Computer literate – GPS, Baan, Red Prairie, Agile and Microsoft Office.
