Quality Inspector – Electronics Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join a growing electronics manufacturer in Waterlooville, Hampshire. You will work in a clean, modern production environment, carrying out inspections of high‑reliability electronic assemblies from first‑off to final stages.

Key responsibilities

• Perform visual and functional inspections of PCB assemblies and finished products.
• Conduct first‑off, in‑process and final inspections, identifying soldering faults, component placement errors and wiring discrepancies.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, bills of materials and work instructions.
• Use inspection microscopes, vernier calipers and electronic test equipment to verify product quality.
• Record inspection results, maintain quality documentation and raise non‑conformance reports when required.
• Support root‑cause investigations and corrective‑action implementation.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering and Quality teams while maintaining high housekeeping and health‑and‑safety standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in electronics manufacturing or quality inspection.
• Proven ability to inspect PCB assemblies and electronic components.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach.
• Positive attitude and effective team‑working skills.
