Quality Inspector

About the role

Terex is looking for a motivated Quality Inspector to join our Ballymoney team. You will ensure that all processed materials and completed assemblies meet the required quality standards and customer specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out audits of processes and products to verify compliance with quality standards.
• Work with the team to perform root‑cause analysis of non‑conformances and support corrective/preventive actions.
• Liaise with production to continuously improve quality standards within the factory.
• Provide daily quality support to production and investigate any quality issues.
• Audit completed assemblies for conformance to requirements and collate feedback.
• Perform any other reasonable duties as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment covering fabrication and assembly.
• Strong knowledge of welding, hydraulics and assembly processes.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control and problem‑solving techniques.
• Excellent communication, assertiveness and negotiation skills.
• Self‑motivated, high energy and able to work in a fluid, priority‑driven environment.
