Quality Inspector

About the role

Our client, a well‑established precision engineering business in Chippenham, is seeking a Quality Inspector to join their growing team. You will be responsible for ensuring that metal components meet the highest quality standards and for supporting continuous improvement across production.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect metal components using precision measurement tools.
• Verify compliance with industry standards and internal quality specifications.
• Analyse inspection data, prepare reports and flag non‑conformities.
• Maintain accurate inspection and quality records.
• Contribute to the development and update of QA policies.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives and corrective‑action processes.

Required profile

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of machining processes, materials and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and relevant industry standards.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
