Quality Inspector

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑focused Quality Inspector to join our client’s Quality Team in Camberley. This hands‑on role operates in a busy manufacturing environment, inspecting electrical sub‑assemblies, PCBs, cables and finished products to ensure they meet drawings, specifications and workmanship standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect incoming, subcontracted and in‑house manufactured components, sub‑assemblies and finished products against drawings, parts lists and specifications.
• Carry out patrol inspections across assembly and test production areas to maintain high workmanship standards.
• Verify that correct paperwork and certification accompany inspected materials and components.
• Record inspection results in the system and promptly escalate quality concerns.
• Support product sign‑off for dispatch, ensuring teams understand key quality requirements and procedures.

Required profile

• Organised, quality‑focused and confident working with detailed information.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to interpret technical drawings, parts lists and supporting documentation.
• Experience of stock control or MRP systems is desirable.
• Knowledge of PCB assemblies, surface‑mount and through‑hole technology, process control techniques and ESD requirements is beneficial.
