Quality Manager – 12-18 month Fixed-Term Contract

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead QA/QC activities on a 12‑18 month fixed‑term contract for a family‑run construction business operating across London and the South East. You will work closely with senior leadership, site teams and subcontractors to ensure all cladding and remediation projects meet the highest quality and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own all quality assurance and quality control processes across live construction projects.
• Conduct inspections, audits and quality checks to verify compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure cladding, façade and remediation works adhere to safety, client and statutory quality standards.
• Collaborate with site teams, subcontractors and senior stakeholders to resolve quality issues promptly.
• Drive continuous improvement of quality procedures and best‑practice sharing across the organisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Quality Manager, QA Manager or Quality Engineer within the construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance systems, inspection regimes and compliance processes.
• Background in cladding, façade, remediation or residential construction projects is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working with site teams and senior management.
• Residence within a commutable distance of Ilford.
