Quality Manager – Aerospace Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to take full responsibility for the Quality Management System within a well‑established aerospace manufacturing business. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will act as the management representative for all quality matters and lead a small team of inspectors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, maintain and monitor the Quality Management System (ISO 9100 / AS9100).
• Act as the company’s management representative for all quality issues.
• Lead and manage the Inspection and Test departments.
• Create and approve FAIR / LAIR documentation to specification.
• Oversee calibration, testing, qualification and associated approvals.
• Conduct internal and external audits (ISO 9100 / AS9100).

Required profile

• Aerospace sector experience.
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9100 / AS9100 standards.
• Recent experience with First Article Inspection (FAIR/LAIR).
• Proven ability to lead small teams and maintain audit readiness.
