Quality Manager – Calibration & Measurement Systems

About the role

The Quality Manager – Calibration & Measurement Systems will lead the calibration function within a fast‑growing battery manufacturing environment. You will ensure that all monitoring and measuring equipment is accurate, traceable and compliant with international standards, supporting the company’s sustainable energy mission.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise the calibration system, asset register and traceability for all equipment.
• Lead investigations of out‑of‑tolerance equipment, applying containment and structured problem‑solving.
• Oversee internal calibration activities and external service providers, ensuring compliance with IATF 16949, ISO/IEC 17025 and AIAG MSA.
• Define calibration and measurement requirements for new equipment, supporting process validation and equipment qualification.
• Govern and track Measurement System Analysis (MSA) activities, driving closure of identified issues.
• Promote a culture of ownership and continuous improvement while monitoring key performance indicators.

Required profile

• Proven experience in calibration management within automotive, manufacturing, chemical or process industries.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO/IEC 17025 and the AIAG MSA manual.
• Demonstrated ability to lead MSA studies and manage calibration systems.
• Proficiency with problem‑solving methodologies such as 8D, FMEA and PPAP.
• Degree in Engineering, Physics, Metrology or a related technical discipline with leadership capability.
