Quality Manager – Industrial Manufacturing

About the role

This permanent position is based in Renfrewshire and offers the chance to lead quality assurance and control initiatives within a respected industrial manufacturing company. You will drive continuous improvement and ensure product excellence across the production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with industry standards.
• Lead quality assurance programmes to safeguard product integrity and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee day‑to‑day quality control activities on production lines, identifying and acting on improvement opportunities.
• Plan and conduct internal and external audits, inspections, and compliance checks.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve quality issues promptly.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on quality standards and best practices.
• Analyse quality metrics, generate reports and support data‑driven decision‑making.
• Maintain effective communication with suppliers and customers regarding quality matters.

Required profile

• Degree qualified or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience in quality assurance or quality management.
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Continuous Improvement training.
