Quality Manager – Pharma Generics

About the role

You will lead the Quality Assurance function for a fast‑growing pharmaceutical business, overseeing a QA Operations team based in India. The role ensures compliance with UK and EU regulations, drives continuous improvement of the Quality Management System, and supports audit readiness across global markets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the India‑based QA Operations team and align activities with UK/EU regulatory requirements.
• Oversee deviations, CAPA, change controls and audit processes.
• Handle complaints, perform quality trending and support regulatory inspections.
• Collaborate with Qualified Persons, manufacturing sites, corporate quality teams and external partners.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance the QMS.

Required profile

• 8‑12+ years of Quality Assurance experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven leadership of geographically dispersed teams, preferably India‑based.
• Strong knowledge of UK and EU pharmaceutical regulations and GMP.
• Experience with CMOs, QC laboratories and global supply chains.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
