About the role
We are recruiting on behalf of a large, successful property company for a Quality Standards Officer. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced quality professional or an ambitious individual to develop a career in quality assurance, compliance, auditing, and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Audit teams, individuals, and processes to identify best practice and ensure consistency across the department.
- Identify non‑conformances and recommend corrective actions to improve performance and compliance.
- Work closely with teams to enhance business practices and improve customer service delivery.
- Identify training and coaching requirements and report findings to the Risk and Governance Manager.
- Monitor and review progress following training and development initiatives.
- Support the preparation of audit reports and summaries for senior management and clients.
- Assist with compliance monitoring and testing across the department.
- Embed best practice throughout the business and support colleagues with continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to departmental projects aimed at enhancing quality standards and operational efficiency.
Required profile
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and root causes.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities.
- Self‑motivated with a proactive approach.
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
- Good customer service and stakeholder management skills.
- IT literacy and confidence working with systems and data.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with colleagues.
What we offer
- Competitive salary of £26,227‑£30,000 depending on experience.
- Hybrid working available after successful completion of training/probation.
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm, no weekend working.
