Quality Systems Officer – QMS

About the role

Our client, a growing pharmaceutical organisation in Cheshire, is looking for a Quality Systems Officer to support and maintain their Quality Management System. This permanent, onsite role offers the chance to develop a career in Quality Assurance within a GMP‑regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the day‑to‑day operation of the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Manage quality documentation, SOPs and document‑control activities.
• Support CAPAs, deviations, change controls and risk assessments.
• Assist with internal audits and audit‑readiness activities.
• Handle customer complaints, investigations and quality records management.
• Maintain training records and ensure compliance with GMP requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in a scientific discipline (preferred).
• Previous GMP experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology or life‑sciences.
• Knowledge of QMS processes including CAPAs, deviations and change controls.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Confident communicator.
