About the role
We are seeking a Quality Technician to join a fast‑growing engineering firm in Alton. The role offers a Monday‑to‑Friday schedule with no weekend work, providing a solid work‑life balance while supporting a range of niche industries such as aerospace, defence, medical and electronics.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and record manufacturing faults on production lines.
- Inspect and release incoming materials according to quality standards.
- Perform article inspections and ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015.
- Collaborate with the production team to drive continuous improvement.
Required profile
- Mechanical engineering background.
- Previous experience in quality inspection or a similar role.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
