Quantity Surveyor – Asset Projects

About the role

The Quantity Surveyor will join Asda's Property Construction team, providing commercial oversight for asset and trading projects. You will ensure strong cost governance, value for money and risk management while supporting Asda's strategic property objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain robust cost control and budgeting across construction projects.
• Collaborate with Property, Finance, Construction Managers and external contractors to align commercial frameworks.
• Prepare and review cost estimates, tender documentation and variation assessments.
• Monitor project financial performance and report variances to senior stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification or experience in quantity surveying or construction cost management.
• Proven ability to work within cross‑functional teams and manage multiple stakeholder relationships.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
