Quantity Surveyor – Bristol (≈£50k)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join a respected construction consultancy in Bristol. You will support a diverse portfolio of public and private projects across commercial, education, residential, healthcare and retail sectors, providing cost expertise from inception to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets and detailed cost plans.
• Support procurement and tendering processes, including the production of tender and contract documentation.
• Undertake valuations, cost reporting and manage variations and change control.
• Assist with contract administration duties and prepare final accounts.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and other project stakeholders.
• Support senior team members on larger, more complex schemes.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Experience in consultancy or client‑side quantity surveying.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, preferably JCT and NEC.
• Excellent numerical, analytical and communication abilities.
• Proactive, client‑focused attitude with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• Progress towards MRICS chartership is advantageous.
