Quantity Surveyor – Central London Cost Consultancy

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Quantity Surveyor to join a fast‑growing cost consultancy in Central London. The role is highly client‑facing, working alongside Senior Quantity Surveyors and Associate Directors on landmark residential and commercial developments across the capital.

Key responsibilities

• Lead pre‑contract cost planning through RIBA Stages 1‑4.
• Manage procurement and the full tender process.
• Administer JCT Design & Build contracts, including interim valuations and payment notices.
• Control variations and change orders with rigorous documentation.
• Produce monthly cost reports and accurate cash‑flow forecasts.
• Support carbon management and sustainable commercial tracking (training provided).

Required profile

• MRICS qualification desirable or actively pursuing APC.
• Experience in a cost‑consultancy environment preferred; contractor‑side candidates also considered.
• Strong knowledge of JCT contract forms, especially residential new‑build.
• Excellent commercial awareness and client‑facing communication.

What we offer

• Salary £45,000‑£65,000 per annum, dependent on experience and MRICS status.
