Quantity Surveyor – Commercial Construction

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a construction background to join a leading commercial construction specialist. The role offers the chance to manage a small team, support your chartership journey and progress towards a Commercial Director position.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor project costs throughout the entire lifecycle.
• Ensure adherence to budgets and flag cost overruns early.
• Work closely with other departments and attend occasional site visits.
• Assess project progression against cost and budget targets.
• Manage a small team of Quantity Surveyors and apprentices.

Required profile

• Qualified Quantity Surveyor working within the construction industry.
• Willingness to commute to the Portsmouth office and travel to sites as needed.
• Ambition to take on managerial responsibilities and pursue chartership.
