Quantity Surveyor – Commercial Refurbishment

About the role

Emponics is expanding its commercial team in the Tonbridge/Maidstone area and seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support painting, decorating and planned refurbishment projects across public, private, residential and educational sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare CVRs and valuations for a range of projects.
• Manage direct labour teams, timesheets and associated cost control.
• Develop and maintain Schedules of Rates.
• Lead tendering, estimating and cost‑control activities for refurbishment works.
• Liaise with clients in social housing, council, housing associations and education.

Required profile

• Formal qualifications or training as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Proven experience working with direct labour teams and handling timesheets.
• Experience in social housing, council or housing association projects is highly desirable.
• Live within easy travelling distance of Maidstone/Tonbridge.
