Quantity Surveyor – Construction / Commercial Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a well‑established manufacturer and contractor in Dunfermline. The role involves managing commercial contracts across new‑build, social housing and commercial projects, with a focus on delivering value and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of commercial contracts, from initial tender to final account.
• Prepare and submit valuations, price variations and change orders.
• Conduct contract administration and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and attend site visits as required.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Commercial and internal project teams.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Proven experience managing commercial contracts on construction projects.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
