Quantity Surveyor – Construction Projects

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing construction contractor in Surrey that delivers high‑quality residential and commercial projects. The Quantity Surveyor will take ownership of the commercial performance of projects, working closely with senior leadership to drive profitability and value.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the commercial performance of construction projects from inception to completion.
• Prepare valuations, cost reports and financial forecasts.
• Administer JCT contracts, variations and change orders.
• Oversee subcontractor accounts, procurement and payment processes.
• Collaborate with Directors and Project Managers to maximise project profitability.

Required profile

• Proven Quantity Surveying experience within construction, preferably with a main contractor.
• Strong knowledge of JCT contracts.
• High commercial awareness with meticulous attention to detail.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to take ownership of outcomes.
