Quantity Surveyor – Interior Fit Out

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage high‑quality carpentry and joinery packages for new‑build residential projects, focusing on bespoke interior fit‑outs, hand‑cut roofs and certified fire‑door installations. You will work closely with design and construction teams to ensure projects are delivered profitably and to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, quotations and tender submissions covering labour, materials, preliminaries and programme considerations.
• Procure materials and subcontractors, analyse and negotiate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Administer variations, payment applications and day‑to‑day commercial matters.
• Provide commercial support to the wider business, collaborating with design and construction teams.
• Maintain accurate cost reporting and commercial documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Extensive experience as a Quantity Surveyor within joinery, carpentry or interior fit‑out projects.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Effective written and verbal communication across all organisational levels.
• Highly driven, logical thinker with a resilient, team‑oriented attitude.
