About the role
The successful candidate will join the commercial department of a reputable new‑build residential developer, managing multiple sites across Berkshire and surrounding counties. Working alongside a trainee Quantity Surveyor and reporting to the Commercial Manager, the role is focused on delivering cost‑effective solutions for residential projects.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare reports, contracts, budgets and project plans.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost‑benefit analyses.
- Manage cost control, estimation, planning and forecasting activities.
- Perform valuations, value engineering and dispute resolution.
- Provide cost information to Materials Buyers, Technical and Sales teams as required.
Required profile
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
- Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor for a housebuilder or main contractor.
- Ready to take on new challenges within a commercial residential development environment.
