Quantity Surveyor – London

About the role

MCR Property Group is seeking a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join its expanding London team. You will play a pivotal part in delivering high‑quality residential and industrial projects, ensuring commercial and financial performance from inception to final account.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement and delivery of schemes within agreed budgets and programmes.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, financial forecasts and manage variations.
• Develop and administer contract and subcontract packages.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and fellow Quantity Surveyors on commercial strategy.
• Conduct regular site visits for meetings, valuations and project reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor on a range of project types and values.
• Background in a developer, main contractor or subcontractor environment.
• Proven ability to work across pre‑ and post‑contract stages.
• Strong understanding of subcontract procurement processes.
