Quantity Surveyor – Residential Refurbishment

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team on residential conversion and refurbishment projects across the South East, South West and London. You will manage the commercial and financial side of multiple construction sites, ensuring budgets are adhered to and value is maximised.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, valuations, financial reports, variations and final accounts for residential conversion projects.
• Support procurement activities, including tender analysis, subcontractor appointments and contract administration.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify commercial risks and uncover cost‑saving opportunities.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and internal project teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

Required profile

• Proven quantity surveying experience in construction, preferably within residential refurbishment or permitted development projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all stakeholder levels.
• Confident, articulate and able to work autonomously.
