Quantity Surveyor – Roofing & Cladding Systems

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage industrial roofing and cladding projects across the UK. You will work closely with clients, contractors and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor site progress and prepare monthly payment applications.
• Update contract scope changes and communicate financial implications.
• Track application figures and alert relevant teams to budget constraints.
• Review labour schedules against actual site progress.
• Price variations and changes in line with subcontractor parameters.
• Compare construction drawings with tender drawings and document discrepancies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, representatives and suppliers.

Required profile

• Proven quantity surveying experience in the construction industry.
• Specific experience with roofing and cladding projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with JCT contracts.
• Strong analytical, numerical and commercial awareness.
• Full UK driving licence.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
