Radio Cell Turner Operator – CNC Machining

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Radio Cell Turner Operator to join a high‑performance engineering manufacturer supplying precision components to the automotive and motorsport sectors. You will work with advanced CNC turning technology in a modern, safety‑focused environment where quality and continuous improvement are paramount.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor Ratio Turning Machine Centres.
• Interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T requirements.
• Inspect components using handheld and electronic measuring equipment.
• Complete quality control documentation and production records.
• Prepare machines with the correct tooling and fixtures.
• Package finished components and transfer them to the next process.
• Collaborate within a manufacturing cell to meet production targets.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Ratio Cell Turner Operator or CNC Turning Operator.
• Strong understanding of CNC machine setup methodologies.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings to tight tolerances.
• Proactive approach to quality, safety and continuous improvement.
