Raw Material QA Specialist

About the role

Join Humdinger’s quality team to ensure that all incoming raw materials meet the highest standards before they enter production. You will work closely with Operations and Technical teams to keep the supply chain moving smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily intake of raw materials, assessing and releasing items from quality hold.
• Monitor held stock and prioritize efficient clearance.
• Perform quality checks and testing (size, shelf life, viscosity, weight, micro‑sampling).
• Carry out routine sampling to satisfy food safety and due‑diligence requirements.
• Review test results against specifications and escalate non‑conformances.
• Collaborate with Operations and Technical teams to resolve quality issues.
• Assist with laboratory testing and drive continuous quality improvements.
• Maintain procedures and ensure compliance with food safety and warehouse standards.
• Support internal audits and uphold customer and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Prior experience in a quality role within a fast‑paced FMCG environment.
• Strong proficiency in English and Mathematics.
• Knowledge of pest control supported by relevant training.
• Solid understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• GMP knowledge.
• HACCP certification (Level 3) or equivalent.
• Food Hygiene qualification (Level 3) or equivalent.
• Micro‑sampling techniques and basic material testing (size, viscosity, weight).
