Raw Material Sampler – Quality Control

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Raw Material Sampler to join our Quality Control team in Petersfield. The role ensures that all incoming raw materials meet the required quality and regulatory standards before they are released for production.

Key responsibilities

• Take samples of raw materials following laboratory sampling procedures, including GMP guidelines.
• Log and record all sampling activities accurately in the designated systems.
• Perform visual inspections of delivered materials and compare them against specifications and documentation.
• Collaborate with Quality Control, Warehouse and other departments to ensure procedural compliance.
• Report any discrepancies promptly and support investigations when required.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area and ensure safe use of equipment.
• Follow health, safety and environmental procedures at all times.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail with accurate documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Willingness to learn or existing understanding of basic GMP principles.
• Effective workload management and task prioritisation.
• Reliable, flexible and proactive attitude.
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
