Reception Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Reception Supervisor to lead the front‑of‑house team at a busy workspace and event venue. This 12‑month contract role offers the chance to become permanent as the business restructures. You will be the main point of contact for staff and visitors, ensuring smooth operations, safety, and an excellent guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Train, coach and support reception and operations staff.
• Manage reservations, check‑ins, billing and profile workflows.
• Welcome visitors, handle VIP arrivals and resolve issues promptly.
• Cover the desk during peak periods or staff shortages.
• Assist the General Manager with member onboarding, move‑in/move‑out and operational planning.
• Prepare reports on occupancy, arrivals, departures and sales.
• Support health & safety checks, maintenance requests and compliance procedures.
• Promote a positive community atmosphere and escalate safety concerns.

Required profile

• Experience in hospitality, co‑working or high‑end venue environments with supervisory or management responsibilities.
• Strong communication and coaching abilities.
• Flexible to work occasional weekends, early mornings or evenings.
• Comfortable using multiple booking, reservation and CRM systems.
