Reception Teacher – Full‑time Early Years Role

About the role
We are partnering with a well‑regarded primary school in the Standish area to recruit a full‑time Reception Teacher starting in September. The successful candidate will join a supportive staff network and take ownership of a Reception class, delivering engaging early years education.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver fun, age‑appropriate lessons for Reception pupils.
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
- Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the school’s overall educational goals.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching EYFS/KS1, preferably in Reception, though KS1/2 experience is also considered.
- Strong teamwork, time‑management and behaviour‑management abilities.
