Reception Teacher – Full‑time Temporary Role

About the role

We are partnering with a welcoming primary school in Blackpool to find an enthusiastic Reception Teacher for a long‑term, full‑time temporary position. You will join a supportive team dedicated to delivering a high‑quality Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and fostering a positive start to children’s education.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, child‑centred EYFS lessons.
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress in line with EYFS standards.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and team initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Recent experience teaching in the EYFS, preferably Reception.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for supporting children to achieve their full potential.
