About the role
Join a vibrant Early Years setting at a friendly primary school in Hackney. This part‑time Reception Teaching Assistant role supports learning both indoors and outdoors, helping young children develop curiosity, confidence and independence.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher with daily learning and development activities.
- Work with children in whole‑class, small‑group and one‑to‑one settings.
- Facilitate indoor and outdoor play‑based learning, regardless of weather.
- Encourage pupils to explore, ask questions and become independent learners.
Required profile
- Experience working with Reception or Early Years children.
- Enthusiastic, patient and nurturing attitude.
- Comfortable supporting outdoor learning throughout the year.
- Reliable and committed to the full academic year.
Required skills
What we offer
- £100 daily rate, increasing to £124 after 12 working weeks.
- Two‑day‑a‑week schedule (Tuesdays and Thursdays) for a balanced work‑life mix.
