Recoveries Account Manager – Fixed Term (12 months)

About the role

We are recruiting on behalf of a well‑established business finance provider to join their collections team as a Recoveries Account Manager. The role focuses on managing mid‑stage arrears (60‑90 days) and helping customers return to good standing.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of mid‑stage arrears cases (60‑90 days).
• Work proactively to bring accounts back into good standing.
• Build strong relationships with customers to ensure prompt and sustainable repayment.
• Apply late payment interest where applicable.
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure accurate payment allocation.
• Carry out general collections administration.
• Ensure all activity complies with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in financial services collections.
• Proven experience handling early‑stage arrears.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage workload effectively and meet targets.
• Confident decision‑maker with a proactive approach.
• Comfortable working independently and within a team.
• Good Excel skills.
• Experience within asset finance environments is advantageous.
