Recovery Support Worker

About the role

We are seeking a caring and proactive Recovery Support Worker to join our Supported Accommodation services in Atherton. You will help service users achieve greater independence by providing practical and emotional support in line with their personalised support plans.

Key responsibilities

• Visit service users in their own homes or other settings to deliver practical assistance.
• Provide emotional support and encourage users to live as independently as possible.
• Work closely with users’ wider support networks to build trusting relationships.
• Follow individual support plans and contribute to their development.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, dedicated and able to engage with service users compassionately.
• Experience in the care or mental health sector is preferred, though a strong passion for helping people with mental health needs is essential.
