Recruitment Consultant – Financial Advice

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our Financial Advice Recruitment team in Swindon. You will work closely with adviser firms across The Openwork Partnership network, supporting the hiring of both employed and self‑employed Financial Advisers, Mortgage and Protection Advisers. The role combines proactive candidate sourcing, relationship management and business development in a hybrid working environment.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with adviser firms to understand their growth and recruitment objectives.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for Financial Advisers and Mortgage & Protection Advisers, from vacancy brief to offer acceptance.
- Source, headhunt and engage high‑calibre candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking and market mapping.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines across the UK and provide market intelligence, salary benchmarking and recruitment insights.
- Develop trusted relationships with principals, hiring managers and key stakeholders to identify current and future hiring needs.
- Coordinate interviews, negotiate offers and support candidates through onboarding.
- Track and achieve agreed recruitment targets, KPIs and service standards.
Required profile
- Proven experience in recruitment, preferably within financial services.
- Strong relationship‑building and business‑development skills.
- Ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously while delivering a high‑quality candidate experience.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Self‑motivated, proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a wider recruitment function.
