Recruitment Consultant (Remote)

About the role

This is a fully remote Recruitment Consultant position focused on delivering retained, exclusive and selective contingent searches for senior business services roles within the legal sector across London and the United States. You will work closely with the founder, gaining exposure to all aspects of the business as the first hire of Lex Talent.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment processes for HR, Business Development, Finance, Operations, Marketing and other senior appointments in law firms.
• Conduct retained, exclusive and contingent searches for both UK and US clients.
• Partner directly with law firms to understand their talent needs and deliver high‑quality candidates.
• Maintain and develop genuine relationships with candidates and client stakeholders.
• Take ownership of the recruitment pipeline and ensure timely delivery of placements.

Required profile

• Proven experience recruiting for the legal sector, with a track record of partnering with law firms.
• Comfortable working autonomously in a fully remote environment.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to manage multiple senior‑level searches simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to building genuine relationships.
