Recruitment Consultant – Temporary Staffing (Warm Desk)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our Temporary Recruitment (Warm Desk) team. The role focuses on building and managing a temporary staffing desk, developing client relationships and delivering high‑quality candidates for short‑term assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business through proactive sales, networking and referrals, and maintain long‑term client relationships.
• Understand client workforce needs, negotiate rates and service agreements, and grow existing accounts.
• Source, interview and assess temporary candidates, maintain a robust pipeline and manage the full recruitment lifecycle.
• Coordinate daily bookings, shift scheduling and placement confirmations, handling attendance or performance issues.
• Provide primary point of contact for key accounts, conduct service reviews and respond to urgent staffing requests.
• Achieve sales, gross profit and placement targets while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in temporary recruitment or staffing.
• Strong commercial awareness and results‑driven mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
