Recruitment Partner

About the role

Join a high‑performing talent team as a Recruitment Partner in Liverpool. You will act as the pivotal link between hiring managers and recruitment officers, managing your own vacancy portfolio while supporting junior staff in a fast‑paced, public‑sector focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage vacancy pipelines, approvals, short‑listing, interview panels and feedback loops.
• Support junior recruitment staff with job postings, advert management, media cost research and conditional offers.
• Serve as the primary contact for hiring managers, providing clear, timely updates.
• Co‑manage the recruitment inbox, handling candidate and manager queries professionally.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners to align recruitment with organisational needs.
• Drive continuous improvement of recruitment processes, onboarding and candidate experience.
• Maintain and update recruitment guidance, processes and content.
• Produce recruitment activity reports with measurable outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven in‑house recruitment experience, preferably as a Recruitment Partner or similar.
• Demonstrated ability to run high‑volume campaigns end‑to‑end.
• Experience developing and implementing recruitment processes and best practices.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with managers and stakeholders at all levels.
• Commitment to diversity, inclusion and delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
