Recruitment Specialist – STEM Industry

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing technology organisation to find a proactive Recruitment Specialist who will own the talent acquisition function for STEM roles. You will act as the internal recruitment expert, collaborating with hiring managers across technical and corporate functions and helping to embed new processes and tools.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy briefing to offer and onboarding.
• Partner with specialist hiring managers to define hiring requirements and recruitment strategies.
• Directly source and attract candidates for hard‑to‑fill technical positions, including engineering, software and geology roles.
• Oversee external recruitment agency relationships and drive supplier performance improvements.
• Deliver vacancy briefing meetings and interview training for managers.
• Support assessment centres, graduate recruitment campaigns and the implementation of a new Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Provide market insights, recruitment data and hiring recommendations to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in talent acquisition, internal recruitment or recruitment business partnering.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing abilities.
• Experience working with recruitment agencies and external suppliers.
• Demonstrated direct sourcing and candidate attraction skills.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously and a passion for process improvement.
