About the role
Join Veolia’s Materials Recovery Facility in Portsmouth as a Recycling Operative. You will help ensure that incoming waste streams are correctly sorted and processed, supporting the company’s mission to protect resources and the environment.
Key responsibilities
- Separate materials on the sorting conveyor to meet quality standards.
- Sort individual items manually as required.
- Perform cleaning duties throughout the plant when needed.
- Provide cover for other positions within the facility.
- Complete any mandatory training for the role.
Required profile
- Previous operational or manual‑handling experience in a similar environment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate with all site users.
