Refrigeration Engineer – Industrial Systems

About the role

A fantastic opportunity to join a well‑established industrial business as a Refrigeration Engineer. You will work on a days‑based schedule, maintaining and repairing a variety of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems to ensure maximum reliability and minimal downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on refrigeration plant and associated equipment.
• Perform fault‑finding, diagnostics and repairs on compressors, condensers, evaporators and related systems.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to maximise site performance.

Required profile

• F‑Gas Category 1 certification.
• Proven refrigeration maintenance experience in a commercial or industrial environment.
• Hands‑on experience with planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance.
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills on refrigeration systems.
• Recognised refrigeration or air‑conditioning qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
