Refuse Loader – Temporary Waste Collection Role

About the role

We are seeking experienced Refuse Loaders to join our temporary waste collection crews in the Hillingdon area. The role involves loading various types of refuse onto collection vehicles and working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Load black bags, recycling bags, garden waste bags and food waste caddies onto collection trucks.
• Operate loading equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow assigned routes and adhere to collection schedules (roll‑out at 06:00, finish by 14:00).
• Maintain and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Ensure proper segregation of waste types and report any issues.

Required profile

• Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to provide references covering the last three years.
• Reliability and punctuality for early start times.
• Previous experience as a Refuse Loader or in similar waste collection roles.
