Regional Account Manager

About the role

Selwood Limited, the UK’s leading pump rental solutions provider, is seeking a Regional Account Manager for the Middlesbrough area. You will act as the primary contact for key customers, delivering technical pump solutions and driving revenue growth across your region.

Key responsibilities

• Support designated national accounts and build strong local relationships.
• Produce accurate job prices using the Hire System and deliver timely quotations.
• Own the quotation process from creation to follow‑up, ensuring prompt communication.
• Maintain in‑depth knowledge of Selwood’s pump range and related services.
• Plan sales activities using Outlook Calendar and Salesforce CRM.
• Conduct site surveys, prepare generic risk assessments and method statements, and liaise with customers’ quality and safety representatives.

Required profile

• Professional, engaging and confident communication style.
• Knowledge of the hire industry and a proven sales track record.
• Experience acquiring new accounts and growing existing Tier 1 accounts.
• Ability to build strong internal stakeholder relationships.
• Technical pump knowledge is beneficial but not essential.
• Self‑motivated with strong time‑management skills and a full UK driving licence.
