Regional Adviser (Financial Wellbeing)

About the role

This position supports clergy across the South West of England with their financial wellbeing and retirement planning. You will act as the primary point of contact for individuals and dioceses, delivering personalised advice and connecting them with specialist services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead proactive, one‑to‑one conversations with clergy to assess financial needs.
• Organise and deliver local events, workshops and outreach sessions.
• Connect individuals with expert advice, products and services that align with their life stage.
• Champion clergy needs within the organisation and across dioceses.
• Manage a varied workload, balancing fieldwork and virtual delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience in welfare, casework or financial wellbeing support in a client‑facing role.
• Strong communication skills with an empathetic, warm approach.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships across multiple organisations.
• Experience planning and delivering events or learning sessions.
• Organised, proactive self‑starter comfortable working autonomously.
