Regional Care Assistant (Bank) – Flexible Part‑Time

About the role
This is a casual, part‑time bank position offering flexible working across a 20‑mile radius of Winchester. You will provide warm, empathetic, and respectful care to residents in Barchester care homes, ensuring they enjoy meaningful one‑to‑one time with a carer each shift.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver person‑centred care and support to residents as needed.
- Monitor and record observations such as temperature and blood pressure.
- Contribute to individual care planning and documentation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support during each shift.
- Travel between care homes, using your own vehicle or company‑provided transport.
Required profile
- Previous experience in elderly or health‑care settings.
- Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care (desirable) and GCSE C or above in English and Maths.
- Reliable, compassionate, and able to work independently.
- Own a car or have ready access to one; mileage reimbursed beyond five miles.
Required skills
- No specific technical skills required.
