Regional Compliance Manager

About the role

This position supports a technology‑focused mortgage network by providing face‑to‑face compliance assistance to appointed representatives across the South East region. Working remotely from home, you will act as the primary compliance contact for firms within your allocated area.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for Appointed Representatives in the region.
• Design and execute a risk‑based monitoring programme to ensure adherence to network standards and FCA regulations.
• Conduct on‑site compliance visits and produce detailed reports.
• Promote the FCA’s Treating Customers Fairly principle and drive positive customer outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address compliance issues promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum two years’ experience in a compliance or risk‑management role within financial services.
• Proven ability to monitor compliance, manage risk and produce regulatory reports.
• Strong knowledge of systems of control and ability to follow defined procedures.
• Effective under pressure, with excellent prioritisation and deadline‑management skills.
• CeMAP qualification (or equivalent) is essential; CeRER is desirable.
• Full UK driving licence.

What we offer

• Salary between £36,000 and £38,000 per annum.
