Regional Finance Controller – Europe

About the role

The Regional Finance Controller – Europe is the senior finance leader for the UK, Netherlands and Germany. Reporting to the Regional President, you will drive financial planning, analysis, reporting and compliance while supporting strategic decisions that enable profitable growth across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Regional President and European Leadership Team on budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning and performance reviews.
• Provide financial analysis for pricing, customer profitability, investment decisions and operational improvements.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, corporate policies and local statutory requirements.
• Maintain strong internal controls, governance processes and coordinate external and internal audits.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital and collaborate with global Tax, Treasury, Accounting and FP&A functions.
• Lead finance transformation initiatives, process automation and continuous improvement.
• Directly manage and develop the Financial Analyst – Europe.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; graduate degree preferred.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, ACA, CMA or equivalent) preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience in a multinational environment.
• Experience supporting multiple countries and knowledge of U.S. GAAP and local statutory reporting.
• Background in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding or supply‑chain industries is a plus.
